Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Sattvin collects, why, how it is stored, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. It is written to reflect how the product actually works.Sattvin Technologies (Proprietor: PHS Lucky Yadav) is the data controller.

1. What we collect

• Account data — your email address, name, timezone, and any preferences you set during onboarding.
• Content you give the assistant — tasks, notes, calendar entries, contacts, documents and Vault files you upload, and the messages of your conversations with Sattvin.
• Connected mailboxes — if you connect email, the server settings and an encrypted credential (an app password or OAuth token). We never receive your primary account password.
• Usage and billing data — model-usage counts, plan, subscription status, and payment records (the card itself is handled by the payment gateway, not stored by us).
• Technical data — IP address and basic request metadata, used for security and to operate the service.

2. Why we use it

• To provide the service — running the assistant, storing your content, sending email and calendar invites you ask for.
• To operate and secure the platform — authentication, abuse prevention, debugging.
• To bill you and support you.
• To send service messages (a receipt, a security notice). Marketing email, if any, is opt-in and separately unsubscribable.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your content to train AI models.

3. How it is stored and protected

• Data is held in a self-hosted database in a jurisdiction outside the United States.
• Sensitive fields — mail credentials, connection tokens, contact details, note and document text — are encrypted at rest with the application's own key.
• Vault files are encrypted before they leave our server; the object storage provider only ever holds ciphertext.
• Each customer's data is isolated at the database level, not only in application code.

4. Who we share it with

We use a small number of processors, each only for the function named:

• AI model providers — the content of a conversation turn is sent to the model that answers it, to generate the response. Providers change as routing changes; the current set is disclosed on request.
• Payment gateway — Razorpay — to take payment and manage subscriptions.
• Email relay — to send transactional email (receipts, verification codes).
• Object storage — Cloudflare R2 (EU region), for Vault files, as ciphertext only.

We do not share your data with anyone else except where required by law.

5. Your rights and choices

• Access & export — download a full copy of your data from Settings.
• Deletion — delete your account; this removes every record and every stored file. De-identified accounting totals may be retained (they carry no email or name and cannot re-identify you).
• Correction — edit the facts the assistant has stored about you, in Settings.
• Withdraw consent — disconnect a mailbox or an integration at any time.

If you are in a jurisdiction with statutory data-protection rights (for example India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, or the EU/UK GDPR), those rights apply and you can exercise them by contacting us.

6. Retention

Your content is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, active records and stored files are removed within 30 days, and encrypted backups containing them roll off within a further 35 days. Billing and tax records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires (currently up to eight years), with personal fields minimised to what the law needs.

7. Cookies

This website uses no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. It stores a single local preference for your light/dark theme choice. If privacy-friendly analytics are enabled, they are cookieless. The application (a separate domain) uses a session token to keep you signed in.

8. Children

Sattvin is not directed at children and is not for anyone under 18.

9. Changes

We will post any change here and update the effective date. A material change will be notified by email before it takes effect.
